January 14, 2002 - Is The Telephone headed to L.A.?
The crew of The Telephone is currently preparing to enter the short in a horror film festival located in Los Angeles, CA! We are currently in the process of preparing some new scenes to be shot for the festival. Keep watching for any updates.
December 15, 2002 - Sheena Tucker wins Best Actress award!
Congratulations to Sheena Tucker who won the "Best Actress" award in the 2002 Creature Feature Film Festival. Her portrayal of Emma Roland was a clear front-runner from the get go of the festival. Kudos should also be given to the rest of the cast of The Telephone, who gave their all to this award-winning film. Thank you all!
November 23, 2002 - The Telephone will make it's network television debut!
The Telephone is set to make it television debut Saturday, November 23, during KM3's airing of Creature Feature. KM3 is the local CBS affiliate in Omaha, NE. Creature Feature airs from 10:30 pm to 12:30 am. Because of the contest deadline, some changes to the film made after the submission will not be included in the television version. A few minor changes and enhancements were made after the initial screening. Keep checking back on this site, as we hope to have it posted on IFilm.com fairly soon.
November 8, 2002 - Film Premieres
The Telephone has had its official world premiere in West Omaha. It was very well received by both the cast, and everyone else who attended.
November 4, 2002 - The film is in the can!
The Telephone has officially been completed right on schedule! It has been submitted to its first film festival. Hopefully we will hear something soon.
October 20, 2002 - Filming complete
Filming was officially completed today, right on schedule.
Post-production will begin immediately to meet the November 4th deadline.
October 12, 2002 - Filming to wrap soon
Principal photography is expected to wrap by next Sunday. R.J. released a statement of how impressed he is with the progress of the film.
October 6, 2002 - Screenplay completed
The final draft of the screenplay was completed today. After a very productive production meeting last Saturday, some minor changes were made that completely enhanced the story. Filming will be commencing soon.
October 1, 2002 - Fourth draft of script completed
A unexpected fourth draft of the screenplay was completed. After some brainstorming sessions, some of the cast and crew came up with some changes they felt would enhance the story. They also said that future drafts are not out of the question.
September 30, 2002 - Casting complete
With the signing of Richard Moulton, Conrad Widener, and Sara Pattavina, casting is officially completed. R.J. stated how happy he was with the process and sees real cohesion in the cast.
September 27, 2002 - Location scouting ends
Location scouting officially ended today. With various locations from Omaha, Plattsmouth, and Louisville, the production company feels very confident with their choices.
September 23, 2002 - Sheena Tucker joins the cast as Emma Roland
Veteran stage actress Sheena Tucker has made the move to the silver screen to join the cast of The Telephone. She was apparently very pleased with the story, but was more pleased to be working besides long time friend Rex Moulton.
September 20, 2002 - Rex 'Lou' Moulton Jr. signs on as Ray Baxter
Mr. Moulton, who was R.J.'s first choice to play Ray Baxter officially confirmed that he has signed on as Ray Baxter. Being very tight-lipped about the specifics of the film, Mr. Moulton said it was a dream of his to play this type of character.
