Cast

Sheena Tucker (Emma Roland)

A native of Henderson, Kentucky, Sheena began performing in stage productions at age 12. She has been featured in South Pacific, Camelot, Best of Broadway and Annie Get Your Gun, to name a few. After college in Chattanooga, Tennessee, she began to perform in small theater companies all over the south east. Most recently she completed the Chattanooga Theatre Center's production of The Road to Nirvana. After taking a year off to relocate to Omaha, Nebraska, she is excited to be involved in this project, and to be working with the cast.

Rex "Lou" Moulton Jr. (Ray Baxter)

Rex studied Fine Arts at a local Omaha Art School, and graduated in 1991. His first stage performance was as "Joe" in Tom Sawyer. Rex has auditioned for the 2002 film The Private Public which co-stars ex-Baywatch Lifeguard, Tracy Bingham. He was recently asked to play a part in a WB Monday Night Movie of the Week, Full Ride. Along with being Executive Producer of the upcoming film, Arguing Eternity, he is currently working on a 2003 project tentatively entitled, The Budahman.

Richard Moulton (John Roland)

Originally from Connellsville, Pennsylvania, Richard has lived in Omaha since he was a child. After studying radio and television broadcasting in school, Richard toured and recorded with a rock band for 2 years. This film will mark Richard's acting debut.

Robert A. Vranes (Inspector Janson)

Robert is the co-owner of Sail Kat Productions. Robert was responsible for discovering the original story The Telephone through his connections with the author Mary Streblow. It was his persistence and dedication that finally got the story into the hands of R.J. Robert will be serving as producer on the film.

Conrad Widener (Detective Corton)

Born in Connellsville, PA, Conrad is a life long movie buff. He made his own super 8mm horror movies in high school. Conrad was a free lance film critic for ten years, and contributed to Elena Watson's book, Horror Movie Hosts. Appearing in a horror flick is a dream come true.

Tom Crawford (Officer Yardly)

Tom has been all over the entertainment spectrum with his accomplishments. Having studied music and acting from a young age, he won the coveted role of the monster in Mary Shelley's classic story, Frankenstein early in his career. He has also worked as a set designer on numerous projects. Tom can currently be found various places throughout the city performing improv.

Kimberly Vranes (Officer Doreau)

Kimberly has worked with her husband R.J. for the past few years on this film. She has been very supportive in helping him develop it into what it has become today. Although her specialty is working with children, she felt the many thousands of hours studying acting on daytime television has prepared her for this part of a lifetime.

Sara Pattavina (Sergeant Richards)

Sara recently received her bachelor's degree at the University of Nebraska, and is currently working on her Master Degree. She has studied classical piano and violin for a combined 18 years. Even though this is Sara's first film performance, she has written and co-written many short stories and stage plays. She is very excited to make her debut with this cast.

R.J. Vranes (Benny the thug)

R.J. is one of  the co-owners of Sail Kat Productions. After completing his Executive Producer duties on the independent short Auguring Eternity, he has focused all his attention on The Telephone. Since acquiring the rights to the short story more than 10 years ago, R.J. has been waiting for the right time to finally complete the film. After a arduous series of re-writes and various setbacks, he felt the second half of 2002 was the perfect time to finally fulfill the dream of making this film. Along with his duties as Executive Producer, R.J. has also taken on the role of director, writer, editor, and director of photography for this "labor of love" as he calls it. R.J. already has his calendar full after work on The Telephone with a horror/comedy project tentatively titled The Budahman. Look for it in 2003.
