Robert J. Vranes is the founder and owner of SailKat.com. He has been involved is all aspects of independent filmmaking for close to 10 years.

Robert has been involved with eight short and one feature film. 2 of his shorts went on to win awards at local film festivals.

In 2004 he co-founded the Extreme 2-Day Film Festival in Omaha. Similar to other 48 hour festivals, entrants had 2-days to write, shoot, edit, and turn in a completed film no longer than 7 minutes. The festival was a huge success and they have considered running another festival in the near future.
